A few days back Xiaomi had announced that it would release Android Oreo Beta update for some of its device and was looking for bets testers of the Mi A1 smartphone. It seems that the company has finally got that. As per the new report, Xiaomi has rolled our Android Oreo Beta update for its first Android One Device, the Mi A1. Only some selected users who have opted for this has got the update. The update comes in a size of 1104.1 MB. The update has brought some of the major features of Oreo and also comes with the latest December security patch.
The users who haven’t opted for this now will have to wait for the final release. As per the report, it the beta test goes well, and if the users do not find any bugs, then the company will release final built and stable version of Android Ore for all Mi A1 users.
The Xiaomi Mi A1, Android One device has a 5.5 inches FHD display and gives 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. For better protection, the device also has a 2.5D curved glass. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and also carries the Adreno 506 GPU. The device has a 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It can be expanded further up to 128 GB using a Micro SD card. It has a dual rear camera set up on the rear side and offers a 12 MP wide angle lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens. The rear camera features dual-tone LED flash, dual PDAF, and 2X Optical Zoom. The users will get a 5MP camera on the front side and offer some preset photography modes. It gets power from a 3080mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat 7.1.2.
Under the connectivity, the users will get 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and more. In the sensor, it offers ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, E-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope and hall sensor.
