The Nokia Lumia 625 is the budget friendly Windows Phone 8 device with the 4.7 Inch screen being its biggest attraction and it is now being updated to the GDR3 + Lumia Black update globally. There have been reports from multiple countries about the update being available and since then more have joined it constantly, so the speed its reaching the users shouldn’t be a concern now. The update also comes as “Good News” for owners of other Lumia devices with 512MB RAM (Lumia 520, 620 and 720) as this means it has been optimized to be in harmony with them.
The Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update will allow you to close apps from the app switching UI directly and auto rotation can now be switched on/off. Other included features comprise of Driving Mode, Bluetooth tethering, Storage management, Custom ringtones for messages, and new accessibility options. While with Nokia’s Lumia Black update you will get Bluetooth 4.0LE support, you can now add applications in to folders, Nokia Pure View camera and Glance Screen. Other apps like Nokia Beamer and Nokia Refocus are sadly not included due to the RAM amount being less than a Gig.
