Google officially released android 6.0 Marshmallow update for LG Nexus 5 less than a week ago, the OTA’s are still catching up but like most Nexus owners we went ahead and flashed the Factory Image on our unit. After doing so, everything seemed fine but once we actually had it for a day we found out a Major Battery Killer Bug, The Wi-Fi issue. Below we have attached the screen-shots of battery consumption, after each charge at least one third battery goes to Wi-Fi.
As you can see the services are mostly stock ones, the battery usage is pretty decent for all but the Wi-Fi which is concerning. Like always, we sent the feedback to Google but we haven’t heard anything back yet. With the Wi-Fi bug we just mentioned there are some other minor bugs and compatibility issues that comes along with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, you can find the complete list below.

- Apps like Facebook messenger, PowerAmp & IMDB Crashing.
- Camera Issues : Won’t open, Will Open with an Error & Crashes after clicking an image.
- Battery usage while Phone sleeps (15% in 8-9 Hours)
