Many of us are very excited to buy a new smartphone when we get a chance, we put in a lot of effort and suggestions into it but still somehow we end up getting a not so perfect match phone for ourselves. There are a number of reasons for this, let us point them out and discuss them to get you in the game for the next time with all the tips.
Personal Need : When it comes to buying a phone, you must be sure what kind of a user are you. Well let us consider a college student and think whats the most he want out of his phone, the answer would be Social networking, Camera performance, Music, Customization & Speed for sure. On the other hand a senior citizen will not use such things all he needs is maybe a phone that has easy operation and a great sound output. So personal needs are the first and most important factor that you should judge before you get a phone.
Handling : Different people have different physical capabilities and dimensions, you might want to get a hold of your handling capabilities before buying a phone. You must know what fits your hands and dressing sense the best ( your personal style does matter ). Phones with large displays are generally good for people who are stable users and don’t try to do things on the go, because you can’t really do that with a screen size of 5+ inches (not if you are below 6 feet). So always consider that what size you can handle the best before buying a phone.
Applications : iOS and Android operating systems offer a great choice when it comes to application while windows phone 8 lag a bit behind, but this may not be factor what matters most is that are you a big 3rd party application user ? Well I myself don’t use more than a few major 3rd party app’s so for me all operating systems are just fine as the stock apps like a music player, calender, calculator Etc. don’t have a very big difference but if you are into 3rd party apps a lot the you must consider it for sure before buying a new device.
Price Range : This is a global as well as a regional factor, for example if you are buying the new iPhone 5S in the States with a contract it seems like a treat but doing the same in India will probably cost you same as buying a basic featured motorbike. Well apart from that there is also another important factor that makes the price range very important. If you might consider a Windows Phone 8 & an Android Phone then your $200 price range will make you sick in the Android one as it will be slow and full of lag while the Windows Phone 8 will still provide you with a stable user experience. So always consider such factors before buying a phone.
