The most popular Instant Messaging App on any smartphone platform by the name of WhatsApp has been recently updated with a bunch of new features, the update is intended for the android version so no luck if you happen to have a Windows Phone or iPhone. The new version (v2.11.169) brings one of the most appreciated feature that was limited to iOS version till now, Yes ! You can now choose who can see your Last seen, Profile photo and Status message (iOS version just had last seen option and not the other two).
Other features that this update brings include – Improved mute functionality, Ability to choose from 1, 3 or 5 year subscription plan for WhatsApp and gift it to a friend using Google Wallet, PayPal or sending payment link and the notification options for broadcast messages have been removed but you can still send broadcast messages.
