As per the information given on the twitter, that new version will be the 2.17.163 WhatsApp Beta, and it will come with a switch. By using this, the users can switch to video call from voice call without disconnecting the call. The recipient can disconnect the call if they want.
The latest beta version of WhatsApp will come with another new feature that is the group video call feature. It seems that very soon the users can enjoy the group video call with their family and friends and also can switch to vice to video without disconnecting the ongoing call. As WhatsApp has not given any official confirmation about the device when it will release the beta version, the users need to wait for some more time to enjoy these new features.
Among the new features, one of the most interesting features that WhatsApp recently rolled out is the Delete for Everyone. The feature works for both individual and group chats. Unfortunately, after few days some users reported a major drawback of this feature. The recipient can still read those message that was deleted. It is expected that the next update will come with a fix for this issue. Apart from this, it is also said that WhatsApp is also developing an application for the iPad as WhatsApp for iPad.
