We talked to several folks and established a list containing Five most important tips one needs to know in order to get the best results and usage from their modern age Smartphones. They have been listed below, so take a look yourself as you might be the one to contribute these or maybe in need of these.
Five simple, yet important steps in Saving your Android Device
- Give your Device a little timeout each day : We advise users to at least turn off their devices for 15 minutes in a period of 24 hours, this helps the internals to settle down nicely saving you from any possible damage due to heat. It also helps your device to start up fresh, giving it a little edge in terms of performance due to extra RAM available.
- Keep the Ports Clean : We insist that you brush down all the Dust from the Charging , SIM, Micro SD & Headphones Port on your device. This helps with the seamless connection and will also prevent any Dust from entering into the device’s motherboard.
- Do Not Open the Ports / Panels frequently : If you really have to open up your devices panels (back or side) frequently we understand, but it is advised not to do so as it might cause them to loosen up or in the worst case, some locks might break. This is a common issue which results in Backpanles/Port Lids coming out and causing device shutdowns / connection losses when taken on bumpy rides or held in a certain way.
- Use Authentic Accessories : Using fancy 3rd Party accessories might make you feel good but it isn’t the case with your device. At times we use Wall Chargers, USB cables, Headphones Etc. from different OEM’s which might do a great damage eventually. There might be cases where these Non-Authentic accessories fit perfectly but most of the times they don’t. You might end up damaging your devices and will not be eligible for Manufacturer Warranty in case this happens.
- Choose Cases & Screen Protectors Wisely : While numerous products have seem to given us ample choices for Screen Protectors and Cases, we strongly advise you to use the well known products. It’s rather simple, some cheap Screen Protectors might cost half or even one fourth of what you get the genuine ones at but the chemicals used in them might cause damage to your Display (This has happened with many users). Talking about those Fancy looking cases they aren’t always a perfect Fit or Cut, hence they tend to damage your device in the long run and also they might not help you with the accidental falls. We advise to inspect the above mentioned products very carefully before investing in them.
While these Tips might not be the most innovative they certainly are a basic guide to keep your devices in a great condition no matter how long you wish to keep them. We care about your phones that’s why we are JustAboutPhones .
