Sony has finally launched their 2014 flagship device the Xperia Z2, the device comes as the successor to the Xperia Z1 and brings a few refreshments over it. The Xperia Z2 sports a 5.2″ screen 1080p Triluminos IPS screen, with the same Bravia tech used in Sony’s TV and processing part will be handled by Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 801 SoC’s clocked at 2.3Ghz that takes the Snapdragon 800 to the next level.
The resolution of the camera sensor remains unchanged at 20.7MP but this time it comes with 4K video recording and a handful of other tricks, additionally you will get an extra Gig of RAM making the total as 3GB which seems to be 2014 standard flagship stuff for android.Talking about the size, Xperia Z2 is only a bit taller but luckily narrower and thinner compared to the Xepria Z1, it weighs less too at 158g. The whole thing is powered by a 3200 mAh battery and you will get 16GB of In-Built storage, Sony has also added a MICRO SD slot to the Z2. The phone will launch in March at €600 / £600 price point.
