Sony has announced two new Smartphones for the Xperia line, the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1 which are the successors to the Xperia T and Xperia E have been refreshed to compete in the Asian and African markets dominated by the Koreans (Samsung) at this point of time.
Xperia T2 Ultra
The Xperia T2 Ultra is a Phablet or a Budget Phablet as you may know from the Galaxy Mega range from Samsung, the Xperia T2 Ultra has a 6.0-inch, 1280×720 resolution display with TRILUMINOS, Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and 13 megapixel Exmor RS camera on the back along with a 1.1 megapixel Exmor R front snapper. A Quad-Core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4Ghz with 1GB of RAM is what Xperia T2 offers for the performance part, you also get 8GB of In-built storage space expandable with microSD card. The battery unit is quite decent at 3,000mAh and you can rely on Sony’s Battery STAMINA mode to make it last even longer. The phone will be available in two variants, the single SIM T2 Ultra and the dual-SIM T2 Ultra dual, in black, white and purple.
Xperia E1
The Xperia E1 is the successor to the Xperia E, hence the specs are low budget targeted and goes as 4.0 Inch (800×480 resolution) display, dual-core, 1.2GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of in-built storage and microSD card slot. The audio playback aspect is what Sony claims to be the Ace here, the loudspeaker on the back is capable of hitting 100dB which should be obviously too much for a Smartphone, a dedicated Walkman button , shake to shuffle and hardware buttons for controlling audio playback are some of the additions to support those Loud Boys for an enhanced Music experience. Again there will be two variants of the E1, with single and dual-SIM options. The phone will be available in black, white and purple.
