Samsung already managed to amaze us with their 64-bit processors and 1440p displays plan for the 2014 flagships yesterday but it seems there is still more they have to finalize. Today Samsung confirmed the usage of a 16MP ISOCELL camera (Which was announce earlier) for all its 2014 flagship devices. This was confirmed at the Analyst Day event.
Now the bumped resolution from this years 13MP to 16MP for next year may not sound a very “Ground Breaking Deal” but the real improvement is in the ISOCELL technology which promises to improve the photography factor of high end smartphones in many fields as compared to the present dates BSI technology.
- Improved Low-Light Photography.
- Better color reproduction for Images (Low-Light included).
- Improved Sharpness.
- Improved Richness of colors.
- More Zoom-able Images.
These are some of the key improvements that Samsung talked about but the one feature that wasn’t mentioned was the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This does not necessarily mean it isn’t present but may not be finalized yet. Lets us know what are your views on Samsung’s new camera tech ? In the comments section below.
