Samsung is surely the leader and innovator when it comes to hardware components, Smartphone, TV displays, memory chips, hard drives or even mobile processors, but its seems that they have bigger plans. The company chairman Lee Kun Hee thinks its about time when Samsung needs to diversify their approach to other essentials apart from hardware itself. Mr. Lee Kun Hee quoted in the emails that he sent to the co-workers “We have to change once again, We must give a bigger push for innovations, including in business structure, so that we can lead industry trends.”
As we all know that a change in business structure isn’t something to be surprised about, Samsung has been very successful with its Galaxy S & Note line of Smartphones but there is still something that isn’t just up to the mark when we consider the Touchwiz UI they use in them. Occasionally all Samsung users seem to experience strange little bugs and stutters in their Galaxy devices, and I surely mean the high end one’s too. The Galaxy S4 and Note 3 are a powerhouse when you consider their specs but Touchwiz UI somehow doesn’t seem to blend with their capabilities (ask a custom ROM user). Samsung’s new approach to diversify their interests from hardware will surely land in the Software department, so this might be the time when we finally see Touchwiz UI developing into something less bloated and more snappy, maybe the Galaxy S5 with Touchwiz skinned Android 4.4 kitkat finally makes it happen.
