The Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S III has been all over the tech blogs and not for a good reason at all. Major bugs that came with it pushed Samsung to halt it and since then it has been on a halt (for almost a month now). The update was reported to be resumed starting from United Kingdom and the build was I9300XXUGMK6 according to Sammobile. Sadly this might not be the case as majority of customers from United Kingdom have not received this update (FIX) yet, however some have claimed that there has been an OTA (over the air) update that is sized about 25MB, also it has I9300XXUGMK6 build to it. The volume that claims to have that OTA is far below 10% of the users that updated their Galaxy S III to Android 4.3 when it was initially provided.

Reasons for us to believe that this is just a test update from Samsung.
Firstly the volume of users receiving an OTA is very tiny so their response might be what Samsung is playing this on. Secondly Sammobile did not provide the download link to the firmware I9300XXUGMK6 and it is not available anywhere in their FIRMWARE section also. Thirdly their has been no response to the 200+ comments on their post Android 4.3 update resumed for Galaxy S III from users inquiring them about the download link. Fourthly the update has not been provided in any other country till yet, for most times it is not the case usually after 3 days of availability from the first country (you can check it in Sammobile’s firmware section yourself).
Let us know what you think about this in the comments section below. Is it really the case or Samsung is just not willing to speed up the process ? Also we will be doing a post on how to update Galaxy SIII to Android 4.3 official update as soon as we find a BUG FREE Official ROM.
