We have seen plenty of devices getting updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the past months. Samsung unlike most manufacturers out there, has a pretty long list of devices around the globe, it has forced them to skip or delay on software updates/fixes many times in the past and it has been the case in the present too. However today we have been able to score an update roadmap which tells us that the update is in the Final Phase, making it pretty obvious which Samsung Galaxy devices are going to get Lollipop eventually, if not immediately.
As you can see in the snapshot attached above, several budget offerings did manage to make the lollipop list after all. Talking about delays, the Lite version of the Galaxy Note 3 (Galaxy Note 3 Neo) has been standing in the line long enough and it seems that the update is all but live, as the status has turned to “Finalized”. Three new devices have also joined the update list, they include the Galaxy Grand Max, Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7. Sadly as it turns out from this latest piece of information, the Galaxy Note 2 won’t get the update as the status has now been updated from “Testing” to “Cancelled”. Other devices include the Galaxy Grand Prime, Mega 2 and Core 2, which were already confirmed to get the Lollipop 5.0 Update from previous leaks.
