Samsung has mentioned the 64Bit processors development more than a few times already and there is no reason for them not to as Apple already did it with their iPhone 5S. The 64Bit processor usage trend is concentrated to enable greater amount of RAM in devices which is limited to 3GB for now (Only Note 3 has 3GB till yet). The Galaxy S5 was mentioned to be released as early as January next year and we know it will be packing a 65Bit Exynos 6 series True-Octa Processor, along with this beast it will also have 4Gigs of RAM which will make heavy operations and Multi-Tasking flow like a breeze for sure. This was reported earlier today by the Korean media.
The true question that lies here is that if we even need a mobile device with such a processing power ? as the Snapdragon 800 seems to does the job pretty easily. The main reason for Samsung to consider such an establishment must be the added functionality that has always made the Galaxy line smartphones stand out of Android crowd. The Note 3 has 3GB RAM already but with the Touchwiz features skinned above android 4.3 does not give you all that RAM for Multitasking (Which is still snappy as it can be). Well New year is 2 months away and so is the “Galaxy S5″ lets see what Samsung cooks for us this time.
