There are several key points that were revealed about the Samsung Galaxy S5 when Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of company’s mobile division talked to Bloomberg in an Interview. The Galaxy S5 is now expected to follow Samsung’s traditional first half of the year time frame, it may be revealed in March and should be available for sale till April. Lee also added a tip about the next Galaxy Gear to debut alongside the Galaxy S4. The Galaxy Gear should be more compact and feature rich by the indications the VP made.
“We’ve been announcing our first flagship model in the first half of each year, around March and April, and we are still targeting for release around that time,”- Lee Young Hee
The other part to this story is the iris eye recognition feature that may be a part of Galaxy S5, it is not finalized yet but it is under consideration. Also the Galaxy S5 will be re-designed as the VP believes that the reason for the Galaxy S4 to miss its sale mark for 2013, was the nearly identical look to the Galaxy S III. Now this shoots down all the rumors that indicated the Galaxy S5 to debut at the MWC in Barcelona next month so there might be some room for patience here.
