Samsung has announced that their 2014 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5 will be available starting April 11 in over 150 countries and now we can comment at the price its likely to come at in India. Online retailer named Saholic.com has listed the Galaxy S5 for sale at a price of 45,500 Rs, though they don’t have it in stock like any other seller out there. The listing is just a pre-planned step for the coming sales but the price tag is likely to hold it’s place, the Galaxy S5 at Rs. 45,500 ($730) is quite low when compared to retailer listings from UK and Germany that indicated a 1000$ price tag (around 62,000 Rs).
Clicking on the “Buy Now” button leads to a dialog box that indicates that the device is out of stock so you won’t have any luck there. All in all if this listing is to be trusted then a 45,500 Rs price is well suitable for a device with such specs, considering the HTC One is still above the 40,000 Rs mark after being the flagship from 2013. Also Samsung has issued a recent price cut on the Galaxy S4 in India and it can be yours for as low as 29,499 Rs from Flipkart.com and about 30,000 Rs from others including Samsung’s E-Store.
