The Galaxy S4 Active is the IP67 certified (water and dust resistant) version of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and now it has nearly completed its spec-sheet to compete with any smartphone out there. The new Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A (150 Mbps) has now been launched in SK-Telecom’s smartphone lineup in Korea (similar to the Galaxy S4 LTE-A launch) with the Snapdragon 800 and 13 mega-pixel camera unit. The other specifications remains untouched with a 5” 1080p Display, 2600mAh Battery, and IP67 Certification though the device is now lighter (147g compared to 151g).
The new specifications gives the Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A an upper hand over the regular Galaxy S4 LTE-A as it has no IP67 certification. The sad part is that there is no word on worldwide availability just yet but we shall eventually see it turning global like the Galaxy S4-LTE Advance.
