The Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 has finally started rolling out in Canada, Samsung promised that the north american carrier variants will get an update to KitKat and they are now delivering it. The good news is that Rogers, Bell, TELUS and Koodo are all now seeding the updates to the Galaxy S3 and Note 2, so it doesn’t matter which network services you depend upon. The update is available both ways i.e. via Samsung Kies and OTA (over the air) so you might wanna check for it if you haven’t been doing it often. The Size of the KitKat Update for the 2012 Phablet, the Galaxy Note 2 is just a bit short of 500MB, while the one for the Galaxy S3 is 346MB, be sure to connect to a WIFI Network before proceeding or as we say “You may end up paying for this update” in terms of Mobile Data Charges.
