The 4th member in the Galaxy Note line of Phablets is just four weeks away from it’s official launch so it’s only obvious for rumors to come popping out. This time around it’s a Chinese source that sheds some light on the specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Well the best part is that the 1440P Amoled panel is still claimed to be present on the 5.5 Inch Display of the Note 4, making it a 534 Pixels Per Inch. Now this sounds a little shocking as a 5.5 Inch Screen Size is smaller the the previous generation of the Note line, which was already at 5.7 in the Galaxy Note 3 so there might be some kind of fault in that information or Samsung might really be into the whole 5.5 Inch iPhone 6 Phablet game.
Another part of this report claims that the camera used in the Note 4 will be the 16MP ISOCELL unit, that we have already seen in the Galaxy S5 (No OIS). Earlier leaks had suggested that Samsung will go for a 16MP SONY manufactured unit but it seems to be only logical for them to use one of “The Best” smartphone camera’s of 2014 made by them. The standard video recording features like 2K and Full HD Slow Motion Videos at 60fps will be a part of the Note 4 too, talking about the Front Camera it will be a 3.68MP unit which is somewhat odd as we personally expected a 5MP sensor.
For the processing part the Note 4 will rely on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC (System on a chip) backed up with 3 Gigs of Ram. The software interface will work on Touchwhiz skinned Android 4.4.3 and it should come with 32, 64 and 128 GB of Internal Storage options. It is also speculated that there will be a Retina Scanner and a UV Light Sensor apart from the other standard ones on the Galaxy Note 4. The launch event is scheduled for 3rd of September 2014 so be sure not to miss it if you are a Note fanatic.
