The second generation of the Samsung Galaxy Grand line of smartphones has finally been treated with the much awaited KitKat update. The Smartphone that goes with the Model No. SM-G7102 is now receiving the update via OTA (over the air), the build number G7102XXUBNG4 comes with all the KitKat Goodies and some added ones from Samsung. We had obtained an Update Roadmap for the Indian Galaxy Smartphones through our insider at the starting of the month and they seem to correspond now, if things go the right way from here then users of – Galaxy Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3, Note 3 Neo & Galaxy S4 Mini will be joining the Grand 2 in the KitKat update soon enough. The update is currently available only in OTA (over the air), but it will soon come up via Samsung Kies too. To check if the update has reached you, you can got into Settings > More > About Device > Software Updates > Update. The size of the OTA is 360.90 MB do it’s better if you use a Wifi connection to avoid Mobile data charges.
