The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is now official after being exposed in numerous leaks over the past few weeks. As expected the device comes with a 4.7 Inch 720p Super AMOLED Display, Metal Frame and a Faux Leather back-panel that is removable. The battery is removable and the SIM Card slot has been modified to a Nano SIM in order to comply with the compact dimensions the smartphone sports. At just 6.7mm thickness the Galaxy Alpha is most certainly the thinnest Galaxy ever made and it weighs only 115g.
The Galaxy Alpha uses an Exynos 5 Octa built up of four Cortex-A15 cores (1.8GHz) and four Cortex-A7 cores (1.3GHz) coupled with a Hexa Core Mali-T628 MP6 Graphics Processor. There is 32GB of In-built storage to make up for the absence of MicroSD expansion while the RAM amount is 2GB. Moving towards the camera the Galaxy Alpha comes with a 12MP Primary Unit, the ISOCELL nature of this unit is yet to be determined. The camera is capable of shooting 2k videos at 30fps but there is no slow motion video recording capability. The Front camera is a 2.1MP that is also capable of producing Full HD (1080p) videos at 30fps.
