A few days back, Oppo’s new device with model name A83 was spotted in TENAA. It was somehow cleared that the device will be soon introduced in China. Well, the company has finally launched the device in China. The company has added the new Oppo A83 in its A-series family. But the users will not get the fingerprint scanner on this device. The size of the device is 150.5×73.1×7.7 mm and weighs 143 grams. The device is only designed for China, and the company has not given any information whether it will launch the device in the global market or not.
Talking about its features and specifications, the Oppo A83 comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, and it gives 1,440×720 pixels of screen resolution. It has the standard aspect ratio, i.e., 18:9. Oppo has not mentioned the exact name of the processor. It is only mentioned that the device carries an Octa-Core processor and it gives 2.5GHz of clock speed. Equipped with a 4GB of RAM the device offers 32 GB of internal storage. The storage capacity can be increased up to 128GB using a micro SD card.
Now about its camera configuration, the device offers a 13MP camera which is located on the rear side and supported by an LED flash. On the front, the device has an 8MP camera and with selfie shooting and video calling it also works for face unlock. The Oppo A83 is running on Android 7.1.1 and Color OS 3.2. It is backed by a 3180mAh battery.
Under the connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, and dual-SIM. The smartphone supports ambient light, distance and Gravity sensors. Oppo A83 is priced at just 1,399 Yuan which is around Rs. 13,500. It comes in two color variants, i.e., Black and Champagne Gold.
