A few days ago while the OnePlus rolled out Oxygen OS 4.7.2 update, Carl Pei had informed that the developer team is currently working to develop some more software updates for its camera and the company will release the final update in December and will improve low-light photography.
Now, After Oxygen OS 4.7.2 update, OnePlus has rolled out another new Oxygen OS update for its new OnePlus 5T smartphone. The new update comes as Oxygen OS 4.7.4 version. As per the report, the new update has brought some major improvement to the camera of the OnePlus 5T. It is a camera focused update.
The new Oxygen OS 4.7.4 comes as OTA update and its size are around 285MB. However, it comes with without Android Oreo update. The major highlights of the Oxygen OS 4.7.4 update are- under the camera optimizations, it comes with optimized UI of Camera and also brings some improvements to enhance photo quality. Under the system optimizations, it brings optimizations for audio from speaker and earphones, optimizations for face unlock, optimizations for vibration, Wi-Fi battery usage optimization, improved stability of fingerprint and GPS, bring some general bug fixes and system stability improvements
It may be noted that a few days ago OnePlus had released Oxygen OS 4.7.2 update for the OnePlus 5T. The latest update had brought some optimizations, and improvements for fingerprint and face unlock technology. It also brought up-gradation for screen off gestures and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). It will give better 4K video shooting. The Oxygen OS 4.7.2 update includes Wi-Fi WPA2 KRACK vulnerability fix.
To check and get the latest update the users can now go to setting option then click on system update. The device will now check for the latest update and download that. As per the report, OnePlus will roll out the new update in phase wise, but it seems that OnePlus 5T users in Canada have got it first.
