A few days back, HMD Global announced that Nokia 3 would directly receive the Android Oreo 8.0 update soon. Now, HMD Global has released a new update for the Nokia 3. Well, this is not the Android Oreo update, but yes it has brought the latest security patch for the device. The update brings the new December security patch to the Nokia 3. It will now enhance the security factor of the Nokia 3. Apart from this it also brings UI improvements to the device. As per the report, the new updates size is 345.4 MB, and it has been released globally.
It may be noted that a few months back HMD Global had released the October security patch Nokia 3 TA-1032 variant in India and the update was around 401.1 MB in size. It had brought system stability and user-interface enhancements. It also brought the reshaped Google search box in rounded shape.
The Nokia 3 comes with a 5.00-inch HD display and gives 720 pixels X 1280 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the phone is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor and comes with a 2GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a Micro SD card. For the camera part, the Nokia 3 comes with an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front camera. The device houses a 2630mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android Nougat 7.1.2. The device measures 143.40 x 71.40 x 8.48 (height x width x thickness).
Under the connectivity options, the users will get dual SIM Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G, and 4G. It comes with the proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a gyroscope sensor. Maybe soon the device will get latest Android Oreo 8.0 version.
