It seems like there are a more than a few bugs on the newly launched Kitkat 4.4 from Google as the second fix update has already been rolled out. The Android 4.4 KitKat caused some issues with the previous generation Nexus line of devices (Nexus 4 & Nexus 7) and hence it was fixed by providing Android 4.4.1 just four days ago, while the Nexus 5 got an improved camera via same update too.
There is a new OTA (over the air) update on the way now for Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013) and Nexus 10, this time it is Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The update is said to be a minor bug fix but the short notice release might suggest that its not that minor. The good news is that if you didn’t update your Nexus device to Android 4.4.1 yet you can directly jump from 4.4 to 4.4.2 via the official OTA. Also make a note that Android 4.4.1 OTA has been officially pulled away by Google.
