Motorola’s Moto E received a lot of positive response from the Indian customers when it was launched last year. The affordable price coupled with decent performance laid the foundation to the near stock android running Moto E. As all other Motorola smartphones the variant received an update this year, the 2nd generation improved Screen Size as well as added a front camera. Today Motorola has launched the 4G variant of the Moto E in India and it’s priced at Rs 7,999, which is a thousand rupees above what the normal Moto E 2nd Gen is being sold for.
What you get along with the 4G capabilities here is something that’s worth those few extra buks, the Snapdragon 200 in the regular Moto E 2nd Gen has been replaced with a Snapdragon 410 SoC. Also the Adreno 302 GPU goes up to the Adreno 306 making the overall package much appealing to the budget hungry. Apart from the above mentioned changes everything else is kept identical so expect a faster battery drain if you use 4G networks.
As always the Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen 4G will be sold exclusively via Flipkart, which has been the initial and only authorized retailer of Motorola products in India.
