Microsoft’s Lumia 735 is now available in United Kingdom, Ireland, Malaysia and Australia. The launch for the UK was already expected but as it turns out the three additional countries were included, to make an impact. Other regions will have to wait for now but Microsoft promises a release in the coming weeks, so it might not be too long before you see it in your country. Previously branded under the name Nokia, the Lumia series has been the key player in the Windows Phone category and with Lumia 735 the new owners (Microsoft) are looking to change the game in low-mid end range, where competitors like the Motorola’s Moto G seem to be taking it all.
The pricing of the Lumia 735 is kept at €219 before taxes and subsidies, which is not very high but certainly falls short in front of the Moto G. However the Lumia 735 offers a 5 Mega-Pixel front camera which might make it a X-factor for all the Selfie Enthusiasts out there. The screen is a 4.7 Inch AMOLED unit with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection while a Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core at 1.2Ghz along with Adreno 305 GPU handles the processing and graphics department. There is 1GB Ram and 8GB In-Built Storage, along with a MicroSD expansion slot up to a 128GB. The Rear camera sensor is a Carl Zeiss Optics 6.7 Mega-Pixel with features like Full HD (1080p) video recording and a LED Flash for illumination. The Lumia 735 is available in dual-SIM and 3G-only variants, but their pricing is yet to be confirmed. It is available in a range of colors including bright orange, bright green, and the more neutral dark grey and white.
