As 2104 moves forward rumors for the flagship devices from various manufacturers continue to show up and today its LG getting the spotlight. According to Korean publication Asiae, the company is working on a Optimus G Pro successor, the Optimus G Pro 2 which will be unveiled at the MWC next month in Barcelona. At this point there is no rock solid detail on the specs it will come with but a QHD (2,560 x 1,440p) display at 5.9 Inch is more than confirmed, also don’t expect anything less than a Snapdragon 800 as LG isn’t the one to follow budgets. The camera is expected be a 13MP unit, same as the LG G2 and maybe a Stylus will finally be bundles with it.
In other news, the same source has suggested the launch of LG G3 will happen on 17th of May 2104, which is quite shocking considering the G2 came around September last year. The LG G3 is the direct competitor to its “Rival from the Homeland”, the Galaxy S5 from Samsung and hence the specs it will carry are almost with power to the rumored ones for the Galaxy S5. A QHD (2,560 x 1,440p) display measuring 5.5 Inch, a Snardragon 805 processor, 16 Megapixel OIS Camera, 3 GB of RAM along with the Rear Button layout shall be used for the LG G3, now if LG does manage to throw in a new LG UI competent to Samsung’s Android 4.4 Kitkat based Touchwiz then we might really have a choice here.
