About a week ago there were a couple of leaked images that showed off LG’s “yet to be launched” Phablet flagship for the year 2014, the LG G Pro 2 and today there is a word of confirmation on the camera capabilities it will come bearing. The LG G Pro 2 will use the already very capable 13MP unit from the LG G2, there will be a few enhancements to take it to the next level according to the Koreans beginning with an Improved optical image stabilization (OIS+) and 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) Video capture, additionally there will be the Slow-Motion video and Burst shot capabilities.
Considering that the LG G Pro 2 will compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 for the major time frame in 2014 these camera specifications will certainly give it an upper hand, specially considering that OIS is missing from the Note 3’s 13MP unit. On the other hand if LG plans to skip the Stylus for the G Pro 2 (which it is likely to) then it might be a different story after all as the S-Pen is one of the most powerful tricks the Galaxy Note line has ever had. Stay tuned for more updates till LG finally pulls the curtain on the LG G Pro 2 at the MWC in Barcelona this month.
