Huawei has been provided some best android tablets at reasonable prices. In October 2016, the company had launched the MediaPad M3. Now a new report has informed that the company is now planning to launch its new tablet named MediaPad M5 which will be the successor of the MediaPad M3. The report came in after the device was spotted online on the Bluetooth certification website. As per the website, the new MediaPad M5 has received its Bluetooth certification. But the strangest thing is instead of MediaPad M4; the company has jumped over the MediaPad M5. The reason behind this is still unknown.
However, as per the certification website, the device will come with Bluetooth version 4.2. Talking about its expected features and specifications, the device may come with an 8.4inch display and will give 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. It may have aluminum body structure.
Under the hood, the device may carry a Kirin 960 processor and will run on Android Oreo 8.0 with EMUI 8.0 User Interface.
It is expected that the device will support Cat. 4LTE modem and will carry a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. The MediaPad M5 will come with the 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port. It will have a stereo speaker sound system as the MediaNote M3 has.
Well, the company has not given any official confirmation regarding its release date, but it is expected that the device may be introduced at CES 2018 event next year. The Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro will be announced at CES 2018.
It may be noted that the MediaPad M3 has a Kirin 950 chips and comes with a 4GB RAM, while there are three storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and a top-most model with 128GB of built-in storage. It offers an 8MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. The rear camera is supported by an LED flash. The device is backed by a 5100mAh battery and runs on Android 6.
