A recent rumor from an unnamed insider seems to have changed the game for the HTC M8 a.k.a HTC One Two. The insider spoke to Bloomberg and according to him the HTC M8 is coming at the MWC 2014, in Barcelona next month with an improved spec-sheet. The insider suggests that the M8 will use a QHD (1440x2560px) display of the Super LCD variety that will measure more than or at least 5 Inch, the other wonderful addition will be Qualcomm’s later SoC (Snapdragon 805) and twin Ultrapixel sensors for the camera. The previous leaks suggested a 1080p 5 Inch display and a Snapdragon 800 which was nothing to be proud about at this point but HTC seems to have reconsidered their competition finally. The new UltraPixel camera unit with twin sensors should improve the auto-focus, image quality, and depth of field, although the resolution of the two UltraPixel sensors and their exact manner of operation is still a mystery. Additionally the device will have a slightly different design compared to the HTC One, thinner and lighter too.
There are too many rumors at this point, so we don’t know which one to believe, but considering the competition fro Sony, Samsung and now LG, we hope these rumors turn out to be true. Stay tuned for more on this subject and feel free to drop your views in the comments section below.
