You have a HTC Butterfly ? If the answer is yes then its your lucky day, as you will shortly be receiving an update to Android 4.3. The update comes via OTA (over the air) and is sized around half a gig (500MB) so please assure a Wi-Fi connection is in place or you may end up paying for this update, I mean “literally paying” in your phone bills for the data charges. Getting to the important part of this news the features and enhancement are listed below.
- HTC Sense 5.5.
- Custom soundtrack support and content selection in Video Highlights.
- GIF creation from Zoes and burst shots.
- Blinkfeed improvements including support for offline viewing and custom feed creation from keyword search or RSS.
- Enhanced music channel.
- Trim support for better performance.
- Superior RAM management.
- Improved camera firmware – Sharper Images
Found out any more ? Share it with us in the comments section below. Also please be patient as the update may have not arrived in your region just yet, also you can manually check for it in the Settings. There is also an added announcement of the unofficial nature that I would like to mention here – According to @LlabTooFeR, the Droid DNA will skip Android 4.3 and will directly be updated to 4.4.2 KitKat that shall arrive sometime in March or April, though Verizon isn’t really the one to push on software updates.
