HMD Global Releases Android Oreo Beta Update For Nokia 6A few days back HMD Global had rolled out Android Oreo 8.0 Beta update for Nokia 5 smartphone. Then some report had informed that HMD Global would soon release the same update for Nokia 6. While waiting for the update, the device had received a software update recently, but that was not the Oreo update. It only brought the November Security patch and some fixes for the device. Now, HMD Global has officially announced the Android Oreo beta update for the Nokia 6.
Chief Product officer, HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas informed about this via his Twitter account, and he mentioned that-

For this, the users of the Nokia 6 smartphone need to sign up for the Nokia phones beta labs and then they can get the beta build of Oreo. The Android 8.0 Oreo update, the Nokia 6 will get some features like Notification Dots, faster boot times, Picture in Picture, AutoFill, and Google Play Protect security scans.
It may be noted that the Nokia 6 smartphone was launched in January 2017. The phone has a 5.50-inch display, and it gives 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution and supports 403 pixels PPI. Under the hood, the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 1.4GHz octa-core processor. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
Talking about this optic configurations, the device carries a 16-megapixel camera on the rear side and on the front it offers an 8-megapixel camera. It was running on the Android 7.1.1. Now the device will get Android Oreo 8.0 OS. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The device comes with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G VoLTE. It supports Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
