The Chinese smartphone maker Gionee in May 2017, had launched the Gionee S10 in China. The major highlight thing of the device is it comes with four cameras. It has been May years, till now the company has launched the device in India. However, a new report has given a hint that Gionee will soon launch the device in India, but the model name will be different. For India, it will be the Gionee S10 Lite, and as per the sources, the device will be launched in December 2018. This is the lower version of the Gionee S10. So it is clear that it will not come with four cameras as the S10 has. The device is excepted to be priced under a mid-range category.
Talking about the features and specification of the device, the Gionee S10 lite will come with a 5.2 inch HD display. The display resolution will be 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, the device will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 Processor. There is no information about its clock speed of the device. If the device has that SoC, then the clock speed will be 1.4 GHz. The SoC also supports the Adreno 308 GPU. Maybe the device will have that. In the optical section, the device will carry 13 MP camera on the rear side, and the aperture will be f/2.0. It supports PDAF and dual LED flash. On the front, the users will get a 16 MP camera and it is supported by an LED flash. It also features facial recognition.
The device may come with 4GB of RAM, and the internal storage capacity will be 32 GB. The storage capacity can be increased further up to 256 GB using a Micro SD card. Talking about its software, the Gionee S10 Lite will run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and Amigo 4.0 User Interface. The device is backed by a 3100mAh battery. The Gionee S10 Lite comes with split screen and eye protection mode. The fingerprint scanner is fitted with the home button.
