Apple India has finally confirmed October 17th 2014 to be the official launch date of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India, the Pre-Bookings will begin 10 days prior to the availability i.e. 7th October 2014. The price at which the two iPhone’s will be available hasn’t been disclosed just yet but Apple India commented on this quoting “Pricing details will be soon made available by Apple’s partners – Ingram Micro, Redington, Rashi Peripherals and Reliance” so do keep an eye out for it anytime now.
The Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are by no means going to be anywhere under Rupees 50,000 as the previous generation iPhone 5S was launched at Rupees 53,500. Apple has always had a thing for Premium Products so expecting anything less from the latest generation of iPhone’s won’t be advisable, while the “Bending” of the iPhone 6 Plus has recently created a buzz all over the web both the iPhone’s are well built than many other competitors they stand against. The storage options that will be launched in India are 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, all variants will also be equipped with 4G LTE Connectivity. According to some E-commerce retailers the 16GB iPhone 6 will be sold at around Rupees 56,000 which does sound comforting considering the updates over the iPhone 5S, do keep in mind that this will be the price for 16GB variant and the ones with 64GB or 128GB in-built storage will be significantly expensive.
