Google has finally come up with the most awaited android release yet, the factory images are now available for the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (WI-FI) and Nexus 10. The Nexus 4 and the Nexus 7 (LTE / 3G) variants will have to wait just a little bit longer, but it shouldn’t be far according to Google. As expected the official OTA’s accompany the factory images and is now seeding to specific set of devices, so you’ll have to wait for your turn.

If you don’t wish to wait any longer than you can either flash the Factory Images from Google Developers page or use the OTA .Zip’s from here. Do remember that the manual update method does require a little more effort on your part and if you don’t have any experience with flashing then you might find it a little uneasy. Good folks over at AndroidCentral have posted a complete tutorial on the manual method for anyone who is willing to the jump the fence for the sweetness of lollipop. As one must expect Google claims to have fixed all the issues with the final developer preview and the build is solid for now, though one would only know after testing it personally.
