The Galaxy Note 3, the third generation of the Phablet line of devices from Samsung has aced the Android 4.4 KitKat update over the Galaxy S4. The update was leaked yesterday and it is now rolling out through Samsung Kies starting with Poland, the OTA (Over the Air) shall commence soon enough too. The update carries a build number N9005XXUENA6 which is identical to the leaked firmware from yesterday, so as long as you have a SM-N9005 (Snapdragon quad-core variant) Note 3 it is safe to flash it via ODIN – You can find the Guide to do so in the post How to update Galaxy Note 3 (N9005) to Android 4.4 Kitkat official upate.

To download and install the firmware via OTA, go to Settings > More > About Device > Software update > Update. To update your Galaxy Note 3 via Samsung Kies you need to connect your device via USB cable and then open the Kies application (Will require a PC or Laptop). The update notification will pop-up by itself if your Kies has been updated to the latest version (if not you will have to update Kies first).
