The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has successfully joined its younger brother, the Galaxy S4 in the Android 4.4 Kitkat race. The build N9005XXUENA6 has leaked for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) and you can download it from the source link if you wish to try it. This build is *final* Android 4.4.2 KitKat test builds for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005), meaning that nothing will be included or excluded in future builds of Android 4.4 for the Phablet king, though a few bug fixes and improvements shall come after the update is made available officially. With the final build almost ready Samsung might start rolling out the update via OTA & Kies very soon now, as soon as a week maybe ! consider me an optimist
The changes for the Note 3 aren’t a long way from what Galaxy S4′s KitKat update brought (So no new Touchwiz yet). Along with some minor UI changes, status bar icons have been changed from green to all new white, which is a KitKat standard, on the Performance end you will see a significant improvement as KitKat is optimized to run on devices with low RAM ang Note 3 has plenty of it (Only smartphone with 3GB RAM). The lockscreen has been improved for a cleaner look, along with which a camera shortcut is another addition. Also while playing music the album art goes full screen in lockscreen.
