Today HTC has confirmed that they will be the rolling Android 4.3 update by the end of September. Htc America’s president Jason Mackenzie has responded on twitter that the update is under development and all i going as planned so there would be not set backs to their plan to make the update available by end of the month. This is a very big step from HTC as we have seen in the past that they have never been able to push updates earlier that Samsung but this time they surely are on the lead as we know Samsung is planning an October release of Android 4.3 for Galaxy S4 (Galaxy S III also). While Samsung say’s it will be October, Sony has not spoken anything yet for Xperia Z.
Android 4.3 is expected to bring some essential if not major ones to the HTC One. It may also be safe to say that as HTC seeds updates for HTC One they will be rolling it out for the Droid DNA (HTC Butterfly) also. The Smartphone was the first one to pack a 5 Inch Full HD display and has decent specs also the price point is a sure factor making it eligible for the update. While HTC One X & One X+ are also expected to get Android 4.3 we can not have a final word about when.
