As most of you must have read by now there is a list from a website Robertnawrowski.com claiming that Samsung Galaxy S III, the international version GT-I9300 to be exact will not be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat. There are more than a few things to consider about this piece of information being actually true, and coming “straight from Samsung Poland”. All in all it’s just a nasty way to get good back-links by messing with a much popular subject.
Firstly the source isn’t credible at all, it’s very low ranked and never heard of, most of the hype is created by bloggers tipped from this news and doing their job “reporting it”. Samsung has initially clarified its intention to update the Galaxy S III to Android 4.4, also there have been many leaks suggesting the same. The list has devices like Galaxy Grand on it which have only 1GB Ram and way inferior processor than the Galaxy S III so it’s simply illogical, if anyone claims that they have talked to their native Samsung subsidy it doesn’t mean they actually have and finally the source to the news has been listed as YouTube in the post which isn’t present (link)
If you still wan’t to believe that’s its not a fake then all I am going to say is lets wait and watch, there is more to the fact that Galaxy S III is getting Android 4.4 than some “List” suggesting against it.
