HTC has already released the Android 4.4.2 update for the One, One Max and One Mini smartphones but there is still something more to add to it according to a leaked document. The Sense 6.0 User Interface that is presently exclusive to HTC’s 2014 flagship (The HTC M8 Or HTC One 2014) will also be ported officially to Five Smartphones from 2013 One line-up, they are listed as – HTC One, One Dual SIM, One Max, One Mini and Butterfly S. The update isn’t very near though, the document suggests a June-July time span for this to happen.
As you can see in the leaked document attached above, the updates have already been confirmed for these devices. Paying attention to the less-fortunate ones like the One X, One S and One X+, their journey has ended at Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5, the One XL is under evaluation for Android 4.4.2 update but if it does manage to get it then Sense 5.5 will be the end of it too. Moving away from the One line-up, the Desire 601 and Desire 700 are currently under testing, so they might or might not see an update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat next month (If they do they will also get Sense 5.5 along with it)
Note : This leak hasn’t been confirmed by HTC themselves, so the chances of this timetable being fake are still possible.
